lead singer of the rock band known as Hootie and the Blowfish. Hootie and the Blowfish sold 16 million copies of their debut album, ‘Cracked Rear View.’

However, the reinvention that so few artists seem to achieve has been successfully accomplished by this particular artiste, who recently copped the Best New Artist Award- at the Country Music Association Awards. Some of his country music fans can’t imagine him singing anything but country music!

Rucker said “I thought I would be here, but I didn't think I would be here like this. It’s awesome how radio is accepting me so much.” The first album is called, “Learn to Live.”
